“Introduce a Friend to Golf” themed Play Golf America Day at The Legends of Indiana, was held May 25th.
Members of the Indianapolis Colts were on-site with the Lombardi trophy to sign autographs. Kicker Adam Vinatieri and teammates Jim Sorgi, Rick Demulling, John Standeford, coaches Tom Moore, Howard Mudd, Gene Huey and Bill Brooks - member of the Colts Ring of Honor signed autographs.
Also highlighting the day were free instruction and golf clinics conducted by area PGA Professionals from throughout the Indiana Section PGA.
These
golf professionals provided 10-minute tune-ups, and conducted
demonstrations on all facets of the game providing a great opportunity
for golfers of all abilities.
Several
of the golf industry’s leading equipment manufacturers including
Titleist, Cobra, Callaway, Nike and PING were also on-site to provide
hands-on testing of the hottest products on the market today.
Representatives from each participating manufacturer provided club
fitting and product insight.
