Foundation Awarded USGA Grant
March 16th 2011 - The United States Golf Association has awarded the Indiana Golf Foundation a grant in the amount of $10,000 to provide scholarships for juniors to attend the Gongaware Junior Golf Academy. The grant will be spread out over four years to allow five juniors to attend a four-day camp each summer on a full scholarship. This program helps to provide the opportunity to experience the great game of golf and its inherent life lessons to those who may not otherwise have the opportunity. The Indiana Golf Foundation will also provide juniors who attend camp on scholarship with course access and equipment until they are 18. More information about the Academy can be found here.
