Perry & Powell Share Early Lead
July 6th 2010 - Amateurs Michael Powell and Kyle Perry share the early lead at the Indiana Open at The Legends of Indiana after opening rounds of 5-under-par 67. Perry is the reigning IGA Public Links champion, but neither player has won an Open previously. Their quest for their first major title continues Wednesday when the 156-player field will be cut to the low 70 scores and ties. The remaining 70 players will advance to the final 36 holes Thursday and Friday.

Four-time past champion Jeff Cook and two-time winner Jamie Broce are only two shots back, just behind Adam Winans, David Mills (a), and Blair Shadday.
