Tackett, Sharp take home Junior PGA titles

July 6th 2010 - EJ Tackett, Huntington and Katie Sharp, Kendallville were victorious at the 2010 Indiana Section Junior PGA Championship at Honeywell GC in Wabash. Tackett, fired a final round two-under 69 to post three-under 139 and a one shot victory over Brandon Knapp, Columbus. Sharp held on to her first round lead for a two round total of 148 and one shot victory over Erinn Sutton, Columbus. As winners of the event, both Tackett and Sharp advance to the Junior PGA National Championship to be held at Sycamore Hills CC in Ft. Wayne the first week of August. Click for Final Results |
