Professionals Lead Women's Open
June 27th 2011 - After a two hour rain delay tested the competitors' patience, 80 amateurs and professionals took to a rain-soaked Heartland Crossing GL to compete for the Pepsi Indiana Women's Open title. And it was professional Julia Potter who, despite a triple at the 15th, birdied her way to an even par round of 72 and sole ownership of the lead. Fellow playing professional Junthima Gulyanamitta is currently tied in second only one shot back at 73 along with top amateur Paige Crafton.

The weather forecast looks much sunnier for the second and final round on Tuesday.
