Youth Partner Program

Youth Partner Program

Your Partnership Supports:

The First Tee of Indiana:
A national youth development program being offered in 15 Indiana communities. Teaches the Nine Core Values and Nine Healthy Habits.  Over 1,500 Indiana kids are currently in The First Tee certifying program.

Providing golf access to economically disadvantaged youth. Over 20% of attendees to the Foundation’s Gongaware Junior Golf Academy are on scholarship. More funding is always needed to give more Indiana youth access to learning the game and the life lessons that it provides.

National School Program:
A First Tee program, the National Schools Program reaches over 70,000 kids in Indiana through their physical education classes in over 220 Indiana elementary schools.  The NSP teaches not only golf, but again the inherent life lessons that can be learned from the game.

The Gongaware Junior Golf Academy and Indiana Junior Golf Program are also supported through your partnership.

Memorial Gifts

In Loving Memory

Thank you for considering a memorial gift to the Indiana Golf Foundation. Donors typically make gifts in memory of a deceased family member, friend or co-worker. Each gift helps the Indiana Golf Foundation promote our mission to teach valuable life lessons to Indiana youth through the game of golf.

Memorial Gift Designation

Memorial gifts are directed toward the Indiana Golf Foundation annual fund unless otherwise directed by the family of the deceased. Families also may choose to direct memorial funds to pay for Academy scholarships or First Tee program fees for economically disadvantaged youth. The exact use of funds received can be decided by the family at a later time.

Memorial Language

Families may ask for memorial gifts through the obituary. Sample text might read, " In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Indiana Golf Foundation, PO Box 516, Franklin, IN 46131”.

Memorial Gift Acknowledgement

When making a memorial gift, please include the name and address of the individual you would like us to notify of your gift. We then send an acknowledgement of your donation to the individual you designate. You will receive acknowledgement of your gift and confirmation that we notified the designated individual of your thoughtfulness.

Again, we thank you for choosing to honor and celebrate the life of your loved one by supporting the Indiana Golf Foundation.

Planned Giving

Pete and Alice Dye have had a dramatic effect on the national golf scene. Whether winning championships, influencing policies to help all golfers, or building world renowned golf courses, the Dye name has been a household name in the world of golf for a long time. While their impact on golf has been felt worldwide, their roots are firmly planted on Hoosier soil and they remain dedicated to bettering the game and passing the life lessons on to others.

The Pete and Alice Dye Legacy Fund is designed to provide funding for the future of Indiana Golf. These funds will allow us to continue to grow our junior golf and scholarship programs to reach even more Indiana youth long into the future. We hope you will join Pete and Alice and make a gift to the future of the game. Pete and Alice's efforts and accomplishments will have a long lasting effect on the golf world. Their Legacy Fund will have the same effect on providing golf, and more importantly, life skills development to generations to come.
